Stress
Stress seems to get blamed for many of our problems today, and is included as a major factor in many diseases. What is stress? Hans Selye, the father of stress, defined stress as a non-specific response of the body to any demand. Selye explained the general adaptation to stress as having three stages: the alarm stage, the resistance stage, and the exhaustion stage. Selye wrote the forward to the book Dental Distress Syndrome by Alfred Fonder, and states that dental stress is the worst stress of all because it is hidden. Unfortunately, Selye died before he could further study this deadly type of stress. Dental stress results in faulty dental proprioceptive feedback to the brain, a topic that is covered in greater detail later in this manual.
For now, rest assured that low level lasers when used in conjunction with Miracle Bite Tabs or other acceptable dental splints can eliminate faulty proprioceptive feedback to the brain quickly.
